Welcome to South Dakota Artisans Connection

SDA Connections is a not for profit group who saw a need, developed a methodology and is doing our part to bring opportunities to artisans in our state.

If why, how or how much is your next question, do not fear. There is no cost to registering or having the link on the site. There is no cost to being a featured artisan.

Although some have pondered the use of "artisan" for the company name, we are looking at the greater picture of creative indivdiuals in a culturally diverse region. Whether your speciality is in 2 or 3 dimentional visual art, writing, singing, dancing, video production, technical advisors behind the scenes, story telling, or other yet unnamed talent, we are looking for you.

Registration is going well, and the web site is developing a following.
  • The number of SD artisans is up to 2743, with nearly 20% registered and actively using the site.
  • We've made contact with many art agencies who produce regional and national magazine layouts.  These companies are willing to send SDAConnections Request for Submission for feature articles and front covers for up coming magazine production.
  • The Who's Who page is getting a lot of traffic. This page allows direct access to your web sites and a general listing of discipline and area of focus.
  • Check out the Forum - Now you have the opportunity to post your questions, inquiries, ask questions and opinions from your peers. It's brand new, and within a few days, we should have it formated with Topics and General Discussion Categories.
  • Watch for more web site gizmos and other networking opportunities.
  • Share the site with your friends and lets work together to bring economic development to the artisans in South Dakota

Featured artist, Sean Conrad found himself entirely captivated with the natural beauty and relished
in transcribing what he saw to canvas. His work can be seen at www.seanconrad.net
