.
- Dakota Cultural Connection announced. - Good ideas can evolve into great possibilities. Working with the creative residents of this state has been a pleasure. What's new on the horizon - the long awaited for publication. For full information and a look at the proposed format click here. First 400 registrations can be in this year's directory.
- What's new for 2009, we're expanding our outreach in several directions. So watch for the online SDAC's Calendar of Events and a new method of keeping track of Call for Artists and Request for Submissions.
- What makes our Calendar of Events so different? We want this COE to be available to everyone in the state, and have it become a State Wide Calendar. The calendar program will allow all registered artisans to fill out an "Add an Event" form. When you hit the submit button, the event is instantly transmitted to an online database. No fuss, no waiting, more waiting and finally no cost. You will see your event online within moments. All registered artisans can get a UserName and Password to upload their information. Galleries, museums, associations, event coordinators etc. are welcome to register and submit in your event information.
- What about the CFA's and RFP's. Taking advantage of the online database structure of the Calendar allows us to utilize its efficiency to handle all income announcements. New links will be put on all pages of the site taking you directly to page. Have something to submit, just email me a link or the informaiton and I 'll upload to the site. My original intention was to have this for local and regional offerings, but with so many out there, I decided add some more outward bound opportunities.
